I need new tires for my 18's, suggestions..?
I have Yokahama AVS db's on my max now which were pretty good tires but they are kinda sh*tty on the rain. The Yokahama's lasted about 2 seasons and I didnt wrip them up that much. What are a good set of Z rated tires that I should get next that will last? I hear Toyo Proxi's are a good set of tires.......

do you want them to have some all season capabilities or just be summer performance tires?
also,
what is the most you'd pay?
I think Toyo Proxies T1 or something like that were really good but they are expensive as hell.. like 250$ a tire or something..
there are other options..
as well as Kumhos

Get the Kumho's if your on a budget, if you wanna buy new tires quite often, but want awesome performance, get the Toyo T1-S. There are some other tires that aren't too bad. My friend had some Pirelli P7000's that were pretty good except for the snow, and they lasted quite some time.
I was planning on getting an all season tire but I really only use them in the summer. I want all season because I hear the summer only high performance tires wear really quickly. I want a tire that sticks to the road well but doesnt wear to fast. I am really thinking about going with the TOYO Proxi TS-1's that you guys are talking about. As far as Kumho's ehhhhh I dont think I am going to get those. Thanks for your help guys so its either gonna be....
TOYO TS-1's or the Perelli P7000's but I am leaninmg more twords the TOYO's

I like the Yokohama Parada's. I have a set on my maxima for two years now and they still have good thread depth left. Good in rain or shine. I have even driven them in the snow...the might cost a little extra but will pan out in the long run.

the rubber is very soft compared to most other tires. If your looking at an all season tire go to tirerack.com and check the new
Sumitomo HTR+ (w rated, 340 tread wear) fairly cheap too.
The new yoke's look pretty nice too (ES100).

I have Sumitomo HTR+ and like them a lot. Got them from http://tirerack.com for about $140 each. A few other org members have them and like them as well, never heard anything bad.

I think I am going to go with the Toyo's or the Dunlops or maybe even the Michelin's. No Ant I am NOT getting Kumho's since they are budget tires and everyone has them
