I think you should have got Eibach springs. I'm sure it's lower than the H&R springs. With my Spring springs with two coils cut off the rear, I think my car is a bit too low. It does looks good though. I'm still waiting to put my new wheels on to see how it looks, hopefully it won't rub. If not, I might have to switch to Eibach springs.

hey mike, i might want ur sprints if u dont want them...but i dont want the rear.
is it ok for me to go with sprints in front and keep my H&Rs in the rear? i rather keeping H&Rs in the rear since it should give a less harsh ride than sprints rear even if the sprints weren't cut..right?

Are you 100% sure you were sold H&Rs? And they were installed correctly?

U're talking bout my max right? and not my bro's I30...i'm pretty sure they're H&Rs...the part# was clearly printed on the springs..it also had the name on the springs...and the install was correct..i even took it apart today and redid them on my car.

Yeah I was talking about your car and that is very strange... they do seem to sit too high, especially when compared to njmaxseltd's Maxima. I don't know what to tell you, except maybe try another set (maybe of a different brand)? Seems to be the car's problem though, not the springs.

I'm pretty certain your 17s having a smaller overall diameter as your bro's 15s. That's why your car looks higher. The tires on your 17s look very short.

the pic of my max was taken one week after install...and i'm sure it's not oging to settle any more, cus it still looked like that earlier today. i had the setup for about 3wks now

the tires are 225/45 on 17x7s...i had posted a question b4 about my stock gap being unusually huge.
one of my b4 pics:

and yes, SprintMan is a crackup

I looked at that after pic of the i30, and before I scrolled down I thought it WAS the before pic!

I thought maybe I would sell my progress springs and get something not quite so low, but now I don't know!!

Hey MaximaPoer. I just lowered my max today at Illusipons Motor Sports. To my surprise, the drop was instanly noticeable. I thought that I would have to wait for two weeks to see the differnce, bt I was wrong. I can fit three fingers in the front wheel well as well as three in the back. Before, it was like a whole hand. They chraged me an arm an d a leg to install it.

The strut and spring installation was about $160. However, since I had them install all new OEM rubber seats, seals, stur bearings, insulators, and bushings the price came to $380. Sonic Boom would have charged $300, but I would have to leave the car there for a whole day. Illusions took about an hour and a half to two hours. I'm a very happy camper. Bye bye 4x4 maxima. Hello perfect drop.
