yes it is a universal kit

 

Maximas, Altimas and Sentras in the 2002 Model year wil require fuel system upgrades. An external booster pump AND regulator. I will soon be developing a drop in kit for all of us 2002/ 2003 drivers.

Will the Nitrous Oxide influence the stock engine's age?

That all depends on how much you use. Generally a correctly installed 100 shot would make no impact on your engine. But if you abused it or went much more you can expect extra or excessive engine wear. Ther are many factors that come into play there and 90% of them actually fall back on the driver/owner of the car.

Zex kits are among the easiest and cleanest installs of any nitrous system. I can talk you and virtually anyone through an install and give you the support you need.

 

i really want to do the GD... but when does payment have to be made? i don't know if i can do it by the 18th, it might be shortly after... but not more than a week. but if it is needed by the 18th, i can borrow the $$. if anyone can answer this, please PM me. oh, what does the kit include.. and what doesn't it include? and i'm not familiar with Zex kits... are the solinoids as good as NX kits? thnx., Jon.

 

If I get a list of definates that need an extension I will drag it out some.
The kit includes the bottle, Solenoid/Controller box, lines, jets, and all electric hardware needed to complete the install. Zex kits do not come with a WOT switch but activate from TPS voltage instead (only after the system is activated of course).
I could explain the quality of the parts from what I have been told but thus far I have no personal experience with them. Every manufacturer I call always has something to say about how their product is superior to the others. From what I know I do beleive they have a quality product.

 

Hmm, I like their bottle brackets. Does Zex have a purge kit? If so how much and will it work with NOS kits. Thanks

 

I posted info above on the ZEX purge and bracket kit. The purge will work on the NOS system. I believe it will work on the NX systems as well.

 

What if i just bought the Zex basic kit w/o bottle and use the Nos Small Pete bottles. Is that ok. And will your mod for the 2002 Nissan work when you finish on the later date w/ that setup.

 

Sure man if thats really what you want. But that bottle will only be good for a few seconds at best. The Sneaky pete bottle isn't for a full blown Nitrous kit. I promise you won't be happy at all with a setup such as that.

 

I was thinking about 2 small bottles (Sleeper Look) that I can hide because I didn't want a larger bottle takin up space in my trunk. I use the trunk to haul stuff alot. But I'll see, maybe just get the full kit. So that I can switch back and forth at the track.

I dont see why. I listed prices for kits with ( $450) and kits without ($290) the bottle.

I would assume that it would be a kit of the very popular LT1 version of the 350..Which is in early 90's trans ams and Camaros as well as the Corvette.

 

I believe it's just the basic kit, with the addition of an included fuel pump booster (req'd for 2k2s).

The kits come with jets from 50hp to 75hp. They will go as high as 200.

What else would I need to run a 55 shot? Do I need to upgrade anything or buy a buncha guages that will end up costing me a grand??? And theres the deal going on for the NX kit for 45 shipped... Please explain to me why I should get the Zex.

 

NX is a wet kit. The ZEX kit is dry. You don't have to buy anything else but I recommend you get a fuel presure gauge and a A/F or EGT to go along with it.

 

i've got money, but not enough to boost which is what i wanted to do..... convince me why i should get nos and not boost and i'll buy a kit =)

 

You shouldnt get NOS because this is the ZEX group deal so thats what you should get.

You have to make that decision for yourself. They each have pros and cons. Do you want lower upfront costs and instant HP gains at the flip of a switch or much higher upfront costs and have the higher hp levels all the time?

By the way, I changed the deal to $450 shipped.
