How about these as my spare set of rims?

I'm looking for some 17X8 that will clear my big brakes so I can put some all seaon tires on them. Maybe even some drag radials. What does everyone think about these? One great thing about Tirerack is they are willing for me to test fit just one rim to see it will clear my caliper.

Re: wheels

I don't drive my car much in the winter so I don't really need dedicated snow tires. I was thinking about these Pirelli P7000 for $99 each.

I believe they are special...$149 each for 17s. The 18s are $169.

Very nice rims.

And remember, the Potenza RE950 is the best all-season tire around...but it sucks in the snow...

it sucks. i'm trying to find a set of rims to wear at the track.

freakin the best offset is 38. with spokes swept out. and light weight.

means it limits me to Volks, SSR Comp, and OZ superleggeras.

i need more options.

These are 40mm offset and I'm about 90% sure they will clear. No lip and the spokes are pretty thin. Ming's Volks GTP were 18X8 with 38mm offset and the GTP have a small lip.
