I am planning to get some tires for the ¼ mile track and I just wanted to see your opinions as to what the best drag racing tire would be to put on 15 " steel rims???

A slick, what else? Or are you looking for a drag radial?

That is exactly what I ran at Fontana last track meet...they worked great.

BFG G Force Drag TAs are about the best DR out there. Next you need to decide on sizing. What RPM do you typically finish the 1/4 at, and in what gear. Also take into account future mods you have planned so you don't end up with a size that will hamper you as your car gets faster.
