The stock HEAVY flywheel has lots of inertia when spinning, which is GREAT for drag racing because the momentum of the mass carries you into the next gear. Your RPMs don't drop.
A lightened flywheel has less inertia thus the engine REVs very quickly, which is BEST for autoX and roadcourse racing. However, for drag racing the RPMs drop fast between gear changes and you lose momentum for the next gear.
I'm not a drag racer, so I think for around town and "sport" driving the flywheel would be a nice mod for me. However, it's going to have to wait until I need to have the clutch replaced.

BTW, how much did you UR flywheel weigh? Custommaxima.com says 5 lbs. for the 5th gen, while the 4th gen is 11 lbs., WTH? It must be wrong, because there is no why that flywheel only weighs 5 lbs., at least from the looks of it.

The stock flywheel is HEAVY.Everything combined (UR flywheel, signal plate, and gear thingy) weighted about the same as the stock flywheel (minus signal plate and ring gear... or whatever you call it).

Only because it's cheaper, the scramble boost works, and MOST importantly it's dead on for low and medium boost limits. However, the fancy Blitz display and 3-data input channels could be very useful. Pretty close, but I guess it would depend on what features are more important and what boost level your running.
BTW, the ONLY examples I'm relying on are from a Boost Controller comparison in SCC
, so don't take it too seriously. It was just a suggestion to Kev based on what info they provided, so take it for what it's worth.
He usually entertains my suggestions, but does something totally opposite.
