Trying to see if there is interest in a groupbuy for OEM and invader style VIS hoods. I can get it allot cheaper than the price at group-buy center. If we gain enough interest I will make it happen. NO FLAKES PLEASE!!

 

How's the quality of VIS hoods? i never heard of them.

And how much can you get these for?

 

I am interested, not set on which one though...how about an estimate on what our prices would be?

I really like that Integra! Especially, the way the hood matches the vents on the bodykit.

Too bad I'm broke, especially since I'd have to paint it body color.

 

I talked to VIS a week ago...the invader hood is 530ish..and the regular OEM is about 470ish..if i remember correctly. Can this group deal beat that? I hope so...waiting on details.

Groupbuy center vendor wanted 450.00 OEM style 495.00 invader style does not include shipping of 120.00.
Total: 570 OEM, 615.00 invader
The guy I am dealing with is trying to get them at 450.00 OEM shipped and 490 invader shipped. Let me get a confirmation and all the info first this is still in the quote stage.

I'm sorry VIS doesn't carry your hood and my friend doesn't deal with Fiber Images due to the companies quality. OHH and as far as quality goes two people I know had Fiber Images hoods and sold them and purchased the VIS hoods and said they are superior in everyway to the FI hoods they had.

No, I thought VIS racing gets stuff from Taiwan? They are not even a manufacturer for body kits, I think they import their stuff from Taiwan and test fit it on cars here in CA

Well I just called Vis. And they wanted $429 for the 01 carbon fiber hood. The only one they have available is the oem style. And shipping is like $130.. If anyone in NY is interested he mentioned that one of his distributor in NYC is Fizz and that he would have them. This will same me on shipping... Anyone got the hoods from either of them before?
