Is that a New York thing? Here in the mid-west, we go see the cars. The guy I bought my 92 SE from came from NY. He had stories about taking cars all over the city to show people.

Not really... I would just prefer to stay out of NYC proper... I don't know my way around, and my car now is not in the best of shape to be getting lost with. If here were anywhere but NYC I would have no issue going to meet up with him at his house or job or whatever.
