The local auction has a wrecked 1995 black GXE 5 spd with 150 k..
My questions are..is it worth anything? should i get it? and how hard of a fix would it be...IMO those miles are kind of high but there are people with even higher miles..normally i wouldnt get a car like this but here its impossible to find one with 5spd

Dont worry about miles too much, there are people on here with double that or even more. As far as price what are they selling it for to start with? Like what is the opening bid? Any idea? Plus what part of it was wrecked? Just body or suspension, other parts etc? More information is kinda needed to really make a decision here.

Can you say donor car for the 5spd conversion?

 

They start the bids judging by the vehicle..This one im guessing they're gonna start around $800-1000. I havent seen it in person yet but the pics show that the fender, hood, driver side door, bumper, and headlight need to be replaced, and both airbags.

..What's a rough est. of the cost of the parts?

 

It'd be a perfect donor..but they do not part cars out unfortunately. If someone could get the car for around $1000-2000 they could do the tranny swap and have a bunch of parts they could sell off

 

You think you can show us a pic? We'll be able to better evaluate it for u... I hope you get it for under $1k cuz the airbags alone are gonna cost alot to repair.

Hey if you lived in florida and wanted to part the car out i'd go half with you no question. There are SEVERAL parts i wanna replace on my 95 max and i think that car will still have most of the extra's i need on it.

P.S. does anyone know of a REAL junk yard in the central florida area? i wanna rape a few junked max's for parts cause i'm either too poor or to cheap to buy them outright......
