Question on Suspension. Please help.

OK. I have a 97 max lowered with a KYB gr2/ Suspension Techniques combo. I was somewhat disappointed with the drop until I added the Stillen Aero Kit. Now I realized that I would have hated a lower drop because I already have enough trouble trying not the scrape the lip with my current setup. Now I love exactly where it is.

Anyways, I now have the option of putting on stock 01' Altima SE rims. I was just wondering if adding these rims would increase the height on my car (and if it would lower the wheel gap)? If it would make my car ride higher then I would decline on putting them on (although they are FREE) and I would stick with the stock SE rims. Another option would be that I would cut the springs once I get them on but I would really rather not do that.

Well, any opinions or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, guys.

Forgot to say

I forgot to write that the Altima rims would not be on Low Pros. I would keep them as is with the stock tires. Thanks again.

your speedo will be pucked up. you will have to put different tires on there.

stock tires are to tall.

buy come 235/45 17 inch tires.

If the Altima rim is 7" wide, you can't run a 235 45 17 on there. Too wide. 225 50 17 is what you need.

darn

Damn I was afraid someone was going to say that about the speedo. I don't think it would be affected that bad, though. I really would like to put them on but I dunno how much more I'd be willing to dish out. I have other plans that I'd want to take care of first. Anyways, the actual height of the ride wouldn't be affected? Another thing...how much $ would I be looking at for the 225 50 17 tires? Thanks again for the info, guys.

Someone has put the 02' SE rims on a 4th gen and they fit just fine I dont think he ran low pros on his setup either.. They might raise the car slightly, but probably not enough to make a difference.

Here are the specs:
17-inch 6-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels
P215/55HR17 (H-rated) tires

Got it off the Nissan website but I'm 99.99% sure these are them. Thanks.
