Everyone with Black LEATHER interior.. PLEASE answer..

Everyone who has black leather interior, what color is your CARPET and HEADLINER?

I was told that headliner and carpet are both gray and everything else is black. Is that true? I am planning to do a i30 black interior swap within a month or so.

Thanks

The leather is very black, obviously, and so the carpeted/cloth areas are a very dark gray, allows for nice tone-on-tone effect.

What color interior do you have now, that would make you want to get an interior that shows every speck of light colored dust as easily as a black interior does?

Not a flame, it's just that the black int of my 99 SE-L is the one and only thing I dislike about the car. I could not find a Blaze SE-L with a tan interior at the time, so I settled for black. And have regretted this maintenance challenge ever since. JMHO.

I too have an SE-L and it sounds like we've got the same interiors. Keeping it clean is definitely a pita. But when its all shiny you can't beat it. I keep a container of Armorall wipes in the backseat.

not trying to tell you how to care for your seats or anything, but i hope those are armorall leather car wipes. Armorall dries leather out.

not to sound like a broken record, but try searching. I remember reading lots of threads about different leather cleaners.

I use mother's, although in the past I've also used some cleaner and conditioner that was made by Coach (for luggage and stuff).

Go to your local Jaguar dealership and ask for "Hide Food" (approx $20 and good for 6 or so applications). This product is also made by same manufacturer and sold by Rolls Royce for their leather interiors.

Lucky me - my local Nissan shop also sells it.
