wierd sounds coming from rear of my car

i have a 95 max and it sounds like whenever i go over a bitt or big bump, my spare tire is lifting off and hitting the bottom of the spare tire well but it is not the spare. it comes only from the drivers side rear. in construction areas, it sounds like something is grinding and then it goes away after i bit. sounds like a suspension thing but i have no clue....any ideas on what this can be?

thanks for taking the time to read this.

I have a 96 and I am getting a creaking sound , I think it might be the suspension. I have 113K on it(stock suspension)

it started out as a creak but then it got worse very fast.
within 1 week it went from creaking to sounds like something is very loose sort to speak and just banging around.

How long does this grind last? a few seconds, or just a moment? Are you on rims or stock tires? if rims, what's your offset and what's the width? are you on stock suspension or lowered? I had problems with my rims rubbing my rear springs when i went over bumps cause my rims were a bit wide. It helped when I put spacers on the rear. Now I lowered my car and it is totally gone because w/the car lowered the springs are angled away from the tires more.

Sweet, I have the same problem, but very faint. Sounds like my spare is loose. Now I know what needs to be done.
