Yes, you can bore it out to 3.2L maximum. There should be some horseage(not sure if real word) gain...

Well...the 2k2 is a bored/stroked out VQ...so yeah, Nissan did it. As for liking the results, you like having 255hp?

Hmmm. I wonder how much a crankshaft, rods and pistons out of a vq35 would cost?

I also remember talking about this before. Try searching fot the thread. A while back a maxima engine was sold on this site that was bored to 3.2L and had a supercharger. You should be able to find that.

unless I have all the bolt on mods and the MEIV ill probably be bored with it. But no unfortunately im still beginning =(

That was the engine that Mardigrasmax bought, but the guy lied to him and it wouldn't work...
