telling the differnece between the old and new stillen y-pipe

i just got a stillen y-pipe at the maxima day. Is there any way on telling the difference if they sold me an old y-pipe with the bad flex of the new one just by looking at it. I got the 2 piece one. On the box it saids for maxima with code a/33. thanks

I doubtthey would be selling the old defective ones without at least fixing the flex section anyhow. Or else it just comes back to them anyhow with an upset customer.

hmmm

where is the noise from then? Cuz the noise only appears when i drive it for the first 10 min. Then it eases out. what do bees in a can sound like anyways? Mine sounds like those ricey civics the first 10 min or so. So there is no way to telling between the new and old from the visual side?
