Hey i just wanted everyones opinions on the information displayed on custommaximas webby.

Do you think that the information concerning the release of the red/clear tail light is accurate or bogus?

It WAS early november, now its late? Is it late november or am i going to read early december in 2 weeks?

HEH i want the darn lights NOW! and i lack the skill to make them =D

whats everyones input?

 

I wouldn't hold my breath. I'm glad I have my red/clears. If you really want red/clears your best bet is to use search and be patient. Every once in a while someone sells their red/clears. You just have to be diligent. It took me six months of searching to finally get mine but it was definitely worth it.

or you could change to a 97 rear end and do them yourself

 

shiiiit, i'll be surprised if they ever get the FSTB out for a 4th gen...

 

Actually, I'd say its a good sign that they went from "coming soon" on red/clears to giving an actual date. I'm not gonna hold my breath tho.

greg is working very hard ... hell his "project maxima" was supposed to be unvailed during the summer and now it's november

 

Guys, I think we aught to give the guy some slack. At least he is the one actually trying to do this for us. In actuallity, we can all talk, but really do not know what goes into manufacturing this sort of product.

But I do wish he would hurry up a little...I want some too .

I talked to him about this on the phone and he said by christmas time, so Im hoping for mine then. That would be a great christmas present from him

 

 

I have noticed the many date changes on the website.

I am waiting patiently for these also. I hope they meet to my expectations and the quality is great. The Altezzza quality really sucks, I have sung this tune many times on here.

I wish he could post some sort of photo on how these will look. I am hoping for a translucent red like the red part of the 99 I30 tails had.

I thank them for developing these, despite the wait.

 

i wonder if greg's even making $$ off this project, and I don't think he is just because I'm sure its wicked expensive to manufacture a product. Probably gotta make a ton of clear/red tails in order to have low production costs.... Just a thought.

i'm sure demand for these would be REALLY high, because of the difficulty of finding red/clears for the 95-96....

 

Does anybody know if this will be a 4 piece or 2 piece set? It would be sweet if he were to do 4 piece similar to some of the I30's with a narrower clear section inset on red.

If they come out and they're of decent quality, I'm going to sell my DavidLs for cheap because they don't match up exactly in certain kinds of lighting, and not to mention, I have some subtle drip marks of overspray, ugh.

 

its obviously 2 piece set since the outer lens are the ones with the yellow.

 

I bet it will take a bit...cost wise it has to be expensive to have these made, then he has to have enough in stock to actually say they are for sale. I have my David L's now, and love em, but I too would like a back up set of tails.

 

That looks better than yellow...oh well, another mod to spend $$$
