Anyone have a link to these two installs? Mine are getting ratty and want to replace shift boot and ebrake boots covers. I can get off the ebrake boot but it requires bending the metal wire in the bootie.

 

Anybody have any hints? SO I don't bend up the new pieces on install?

 

for the shifter theres 2 clips on each side of the frame so pop those off and its also connected on each side- next to the cig lighter and the other side of the ashtray, then you can just unclip the boot from the bottom. I dont know about the parking brake though but you might have to remove the whole console out

 

That's my concern. Was hoping there'd be an easier way. But if not - so be it./ If I find one, I'll let you guys know.

 

no no no!! Dont do that I almost made the same mistake just pull the E-brake boot out and replace it.. very easy
