BG Quick Clean (engine cleaner)

Hello All!!
First time posting on th org --I want to know if anyone has used
"BG Quick Clean" engine cleaner and is it ok for my 97 SE with 50k. You pour it in the engine before an oil change, run engine for 10-15 minutes then drain the oil. This supposedly cleans out the engine and removes all kinds of deposits.
Thanx

I've never heard anything bad about any of the BG products.

How much was the internal engine cleaner and where did you get it?

bg products are heavy duty. you can't buy them off the shelf. i've used their engine cleaner and fuel injector cleaner. makes a huge diff. well worth the $20+/bottle.

I just did my oil change using BG Quick Clean-- WOW....car runs a lot quiter and feels more powerful.
I also put on Fram Sure Drain in place of my drain plug for easy oil changes. Any Comments on Fram Sure Drain
BG Products are used by various car dealerships and cannot be bought off the shelf........ But you can buy them at this site www.rynoproducts.com
I had used BGK44 gas treatmet earlier and man....what a difference. Car runs great and I got 220 miles on half a tank of premium in Long Island rush hour traffic.
BG Engine Cleaner is $13.95
BG K44 fuel treatment is $19.95

.......Both are very good products, definately try them.

i got a 95 with about 110k on it and some people told me that using a cleaner like that could possibly create leaks at the seals. has anyone used it with atleast 100k on their car???

Has anyone tried "Z Max Power System". Looks to work really good especially for high mileage, anyone tried that? Here's a little pic of the product:

all i hear is "yeah, don't get it cuz they lost a court battle". But I've also heard "dood, it gave my car new life". Finally, I heard "don't do it cuz nissan manual says not to put additives in there" (if this were true, why do my local dealers stock Nissan brand gas, injection, and engine additives?)

yeah, that and getting your engine bay steam cleaned. This causes leaks because the carbon deposits are being cleaned out.. and some of the places were it would leak, it's clogged by the deposits. If you change your oil regularily, you should not have this problem... but then again you may, just depends on how well you've maintained ure car.

I used it and never noticed a thing! Waste of money if you ask me. I have heard it doesn't do jack!
