Oxygen Sensors, mpg, Y-pipe....

Around 20k miles ago, I got a code for a bad oxygen sensor... The car ran just fine, so I just reset the computer.

To make a long story short, it NEVER came back on! I just installed a Y-pipe around a week ago, and sprayed the pickups on the sensors down with carb/throttle body cleaner just to make myself feel better, but there have never been anymore oxygen sensor codes.

I now have around 97k miles on the car, and it gets 24.5 mpg with normal mixed driving, and 28 with steady highway driving.

If the Y-pipe affected fuel mileage, it has been 1 mpg or less.

Good Luck!
