KYB AGX, Maxspeed, Motivational rear upper mount impressions
As indicated in the suspension FAQ, the Maxspeed springs dropped the front more than the rear (the front wheel well gap is about 1/2" less than the rear wheel well gap). I like the way the car slightly rakes forward. This is with about 5/8 tank of gas. The drop is noticeable, but not dramatic. It looks like what a stock Maxima should have been from the factory.
Ride quality of AGX (set on softest settings 1 front and 1 rear) with Maxspeed springs - (compared to stock GXE springs and shocks with 69K miles) I think the ride quality is GREAT! It is definitely firmer than stock, but it is 100% bearable. The first thing i did was to drive over some railroad tracks near my house where everyone always slows to about 5 mph to cross. I was able to blast over those tracks at 25 mph with no problems or bottoming out. I think the Motivational rear upper mounts helps ride quality by keeping the softer rear springs and shocks from bottoming. I think the ride quality is completely acceptable and would not complain if this were how a stock Maxima rode. In fact, the ride quality and handling felt just about on par with my stock Infiniti G20t. Even in its lowered state, the Maxima still has more suspension travel than my G20t.
Handling - haven't driven much so far, but turns are much flatter and the front of the car no longer pitches up and down when accelerating and braking. The car simply rides extremely flat. On the freeway, the car is quite taut. Taking a dip at high speed caused the car to bounce just once before returning to static ride height. Steering effort seems to be slightly increased, but this may just be because the car no longe feels floaty at highway speeds.
Overall, I would recommend this set up. For those who are concerned about ride quality, this set up is excellent, smooth riding set up. It is not harsh in any way. For those who want more lowering, you will be disappointed with the Maxspeed springs as they do not aggressively lower the car. However, at least they make the car rake slightly forward, instead of having the ***-dropped look of some of the other springs. Maybe after a month or so, the car will drop a bit more as the shocks and springs wear in. YMMV depending on what brand of strut you are using and whether they are new or old.

Frankly, I don't think 1/4" difference is a big deal. In fact in my experience it is very rare for a car to sit exactly the same height left and right regardless of whether one is using stock springs or aftermarket springs. As a matter of fact, my brother's 240SX specifically had slightly different heights spec'd for left and right. Furthermore, there are many things that affect measurements. Just the simple fact that there is a driver on the drivers side who then gets out of the car can cause a slight difference in height measurements.
Unless it is noticeably different, I don't think it is a big issue.

I'm sure you know this already, but it bears repeating: When you are removing the springs, ALWAYS be sure that the spring compressors have clamped down enough so that the spring is completely loose before removing the top nut on the strut/shock or you WILL be injured.

If there's enough interest, someone may set up a group deal. I know Kevin Wong is also interested in these.
