when bringing in your max for TSB work...
wouldn't the service guys be happy to do TSB work since they get to bill Nissan for the work they've done?
I'm bringing in my car on Monday to have a bunch of things checked out. One thing is under emissions warranty but the 5 other items are all TSB's.
I'm assuming that they'd be happy for this kind of work
but please correct me if I'm wrong...
I drive a 2k1 with 42K miles
Thanks

my understanding is that they do get reimbursed for tsb work but they have to do it in a set time. anything over that time is their loss. so if its work not under a tsb they can work on it and maybe take a lunch or work on something else. ive never had a problem with any of my tsb work as of yet.

If they are performing warranty work, that bay is tied up and not free to rob customers who are paying the full labor rate as opposed to a contracted rate. Just look at doctors and the stuff they pull when you are using insurance instead of cash.
it's up to them whether your car even falls under a tsb or not. try to get nissan to replace noisy heater blowers for example. they're inclined to tell you the unit is just plain cheap and even if they replace it the unit will soon be noisy again
