The password is lowercase. I hadn't seen those pics, but I have to say I'm relatively disappointed with what I see. Too big for me, but at least it has dual exhaust. Maybe they'll make it better looking when it's produced for America......I hope.

what have they done?!?!?!?

and why would the acura site have this before us? color me confused.

if they do infact change to this body style, hopefully it will look better in the US. some pics don't look horrible, but some angles make it look like a boat that came from ugly island.

caddy grill?
altima headlights?
VW passat rear?
nasty center console. I'm not liking the new max. I'm gonna start checking out other cars. Besides the 350z, I'm not feeling Nissan anymore. 3rd gen maximas and 1st gen altimas are my fav and still are. Wish we could go back in time.

The center console looks like it belongs inside of a sailboat.

Some kind of Passat on crack, interior doesnt look sporty and isnt exactly my idea of ultimate luxury (Unless ofcourse we are talking a Buick Park Avenue or something along those lines for the old timers). I was told there will infact be a 2004+ SE-R Maxima somewhere down the line, featuring Bucket seats( Front and Rear), gotta see that.

That would be sweet. I would consider buying a sportier Maxima, but not a more "luxurious" one. It looks like the new Maxima will be the luxury sedan of the Nissan fleet and will gradually move away from its 4DSC roots.

No the hell is not, Have you seen the back of the new Accords? Now thats some stupyd looking shyt right there. The front is cool but cant even look at that horrible rear. Nissan takes the better exterior design if you ask me.

This is sad

Wow, they really had a chance to set a benchmark for affordably priced
performance sedans and it looks like they've blown it. I'll stick with
my 4th gen as long as she'll have me.

Is that their conversion of the altima?

If this was the maxima it wouldn't surprise me. Japan botches anything up when they have a good thing going.

Skyline (great body moldings, and fender flares) - GTR (looks like a refrigerator on wheels)

300z (stunning) 350z (looks like a cadillac CTS)

RX-7 RX-8

Supra & 3000GT VR-4

previous WRX compared to new WRX

NSX

Lexus GS

Accord

Eclipse

Civic

And I swear if that put that split dash in the Max I will go postal on someone. Keep that in the Hondas, and altimas. The smooth flowing center piece of the previous eclipse, maxima, supra, NSX, Lamborghini will always look better
