Henrik, how do these door inserts attach to factory ones? Do you have to glue them in place?

Thanks!

Does the brown match the dash bord, the one that comes with the tan leather interior?

I personaly applied a very thin layer of 3M spray mount on the back before I hold it in position on top of the factory cloth inserts, then using a flathead screw driver push in the 1/4" leftover behind the inserts.
"You don't need to take the existing inserts out" very easy to do in 5-10 minutes.
If you guys like I can include installation guide in every kit.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I belive the SE door inserts are attached as one piece with the rest of the door panel.

Comment from one of the customers....hope this helps (Maxed Up)

I installed my black inserts that I received in the mail last night!! Let's just say they look PERFECT!!!

I used 3M spray adhesive, removed the door panels, layed them on a table and took my time laying the inserts over the cloth on the door and pressing the edges in with a thin flathead screwdriver...

Thanks MAXED UP, I finally completed my interior swap to all leather. They look perfect...they couldn't look better!!

Although they aren't real leather, they have a nice texture on them that matches the leather seats exactly, and they are thin enough to conform to the contours of the stock inserts without wrinkling or folding.

Do you think the black inserts would match the black leather seats (Nissan OEM seats) pretty well?

Hmmm...very tempting. I don't want to get gray, I'm afraid that'd be redundant. I'm thinking about getting black, to contrast with the gray interior a bit. $24 plus shipping? Even I can get that money

Gepetto, I can do both, but I would go with the black if I were you... also $24 total (includes ground shipping).

Is it necessary to take the whole door panel off to install it?

Yes, if you have a black dashboard. I did this for a friend (Andy, Slammed 95) and it came out beautiful.

I am in a process of making 2 tone front/back seat covers made of this exact material in variety of colors for our cars. I figure they'll be about $175 for the full set (Including matching door inserts)!!! Anybody interested?

Hey,
I sent you a payment for the tan ones.

One question though
How well does it match the factory, tan door panels?

Got your paypal, thanks Steven, It will be shipped tomarrow.
The Tan is lighter than our car's OEM color, but matches real well.
