V2 supercharged Maximas, I will share some useful install info

I have worked on my blower and other blowers. After doing it many times I have learned some tricks and I am about to share with everyone here today. Here is the first one. Do not install this one bolt on the supercharger. Doing so will make the removal a true pain in the rear. You even have to remove the fuse box out of the way and that is not necessary if you do not install this one bolt.

2nd tip when I was removing this one bolt with out this craftsman tool it took be about 30 mins plus to remove that one bottom allen bolt that is at the very bottom of the plate. When I first installed my blower I went and bought this craftsman socket action closed wrench. Doing so I started to install it by hand and then attached this to it. Worked just fine for me. As for the removal use a regular L shaped allen break it loose attach this as such. Do not remove the bolt completely as it will get stuck. It will get loose enough to be removed by hand.

I am also working on a bunch of write ups on how tos for the mechanically inclined.

There are lots of how tos but some people prefer pictures as new people dont know what the name of a part is.

Expect a how to remove a blower and change the belt etc.. for some of these V2 owners that are paying a shaaaabang load of cash. that is very unnecessary as I have found an easier way to get to the oil return screw which is a pain but must be secure. Is still time consuming but never the less the point is for everyone not to spend so much time removing something that takes from 1 hour to 1 hour and half vice 5 hours etc..

If you are one of these people that dont know how to use a socket properly dont do this leave the job to the mechanics etc..I have seen many members strip the **** out bolts and nuts and cant get the stuff removed. Most of the time I have to dremel it out or use electric pipe cutters etc.

I never run into problems with those.

The hardest thing on either 4th or 5th gen SC removal is the 10mm bolt near the idler pulley. Also, alignment of the alternator is a pain if you accidentally move it.

You check out any school around marietta? I know there is one right down the street from you that is very highly credited on techs. I'm in my first quarter there. Let me know if you want some info on it.
