Running power wire outside of the car?
I have way to many holes on the firewall. There is no more room for me to drill another big hole. It would just be easier for me to run my new 0 gauge wire outside the car along my OEM fuel line and just drill a hole in the trunk. Is there anything wrong for doing it this way. I have always run my power wire inside the car, but there just not enough room for a fat 0 gauge this time.

Dont run ANY wires outside the car, it's just asking for problems in the long run. If the wire splits, exposing the copper, it could cause anything from a blown fuse, all the way to damaged equipment and possible fire hazard. At worst, run it along the inside of your hood under your winshield, and come out the passenger side.
Why may I ask do you have many holes in your firewall???

Let's see... About 5 gauges worth of sender wires, one 4 an nitrous line to my nitrous gauge, nitrous fuel pressure safety switch, nitrous bottle opener power, nitrous heater and....forget it. I'll just show you some pictures
I might able to squeeze the 0 gauge into the firewall, but the fat wire would be a tight fit under the carpet. I guess I'm just lazy since it will be easier running the wire outside of the car.

Hey Tony,
I know its a pain in the a$$, but why not rewire all of those already in there? Consolidate to 2 big holes. Like I said.....a pain in the a$$ but worth it later.
When running outside the car not only being a possible hazard, but you will end up using a longer length of wire. You want the wire to be as direct as possible of course still hiding it, and running it neatly.

Why not come on up here and bring Corey and James wit ya and we can all have a party doing it !!!

I guess if you really have to do it. Just make sure you wire-loom and tape the entire length.
