Love those HIDs but...

I gotta say I really love my HIDs, however, while driving yesterday in near white out conditions (heavy snow), those damn lights were just too bright. Sure, I could every freaking snowflake with their intricate details, but it was so bad that I was getting dizzy!

I guess I gotta to the fog light mod now. I wanted to turn the HIDs of so bad!

BTW, HLSD does help in snow, a little.

This winter should make for a real adventure! Happy maxxing all!

hehe...i guess the 2002-03 Maxims don't come with angle adjuster on their HIDs...my dad's Q come with the adjuster ****..you can angle up and down the HID lights depending on road surface, weather and hills. it helps a little.

Is a running fog lamp without the headlights legal? Thinking about the fog rewire.

Legal or not, it would've been nice. The HIDs created way too much glare in the line of sight. Fogs would've been perfect. Imagine white out conditions on I-71 with no highway lighting. Grrrr.

In most places, just fogs, aren't legal.
