Stanza vs. Maxima Parts

Hello fellow Maxima enthusiasts, I was junkyard hopping today to find parts for my 88 Maxima but wasn't too successful. I was looking for the power antenna assembly, among other things, and noticed that a Stanza had one fully intact. Would anyone know if these are interchangable?

Dan

Re: Stanza vs. Maxima Parts

Well, Stanza shares the chassis with maxima. So it probably possible that it shares a lot of parts too. I can tell you 100% for sure, but it probably will work.

Re: Re: Stanza vs. Maxima Parts

Depend on what year of stanza you're talking about. Most of them will swap right in, especially in the suspension department.

Your Maxima chassis code is U11. The stanzas within the same year as yours are T12. The 90-92 Stanza is a U12. All these cars had similar suspension design to your U11.

As for the power antenna, it'll most likely go right in, after swapping brackets of course.

Pls. note that the U12's power antenna has a timer box on it, just like the J30 (3rd gen.).
