just got my first maxima

hi everyone. I'm new to the Maxima world. I totalled my Red 1990 Corvette, so I bought a 2002 Maxima SE. Just wanted to say hello.

yeah, the airbag burned my hand, and I had a bad bruise on my knee from the steering wheel. I guess my feelings were hurt too!

actually, no I didn't get the 6-speed. here's why. Insurance gave me $14,000 for the Vette, so I had limited funds. I'm only 19 and my parents help some. So I couldn't spend over $18,000. Well, I found a 2000 GLE with 30k miles for $17000. Then I found a 2002 SE (cloth, no sunroof, no bose) with 26k miles for $17,900. I couldn't justify getting a car two years older just to get leather, sunroof, and bose. I have my whole life to get all that stuff. I took the newer car. I bought it from National Car Rental...it was used as a rental (all maint. documented.) It's in great shape (paint looks good, interior is perfect) it looks like a brand new car! I LOVE IT!
