well, hello. this is my first post and i am sooo sure that this question has been asked b4. thus if anyone can provide a link or an answer ill be happy with either one

Well question being: i want to lower my '96 stock max. I dont want to lower it too far so it scrapes the bumps... so what would be the ideal height (about) and what shocks/struts/springs would u recommend. (obviously the most expensive are the best...but im looking for something thats good quality for small quantity-$ )

wha sup man? dont mind all the folks on here- i think its a forum so why the hola not-anyways- ive had so many different spring shock combos on several cars. i have sprint low street on now with 1/2 coil cut from front(heavy *** sub box)and factory struts. its a good set up. looks good-rides good and the springs were cheap. if you go this route dont forget to cut the bump stops and get an ingals front camber correction kit. hope this helps.

 

shocks- KYB AGX
springs, maxspeed which is about 1.6" drop. pretty cheap too. the drop will look similar to the pics in my Profile but I have Apex springs which is about the same drop as maxspeeds, only cost twice as much though
