A few more Cattman RSB install hints (long)

Installed the Cattman (sp?) RSB and Bomz FSTB today. On the Cattman:

On my 2k3 I installed the outside bushings about 5 inches from the end of the bar, on the rear side of the e-brake line bracket. If you put it in front you can only get about 3/4" from the end of the bar, which reduces the effect of the RSB.

When one side was tightened (and axle bushings still loose), used a C clamp to hold the other side close enough to put on the nuts. I could almost hold it and do it, but using a clamp was much easier.

It helps if you have a really deep socket (think it's 14mm?) for the U-bolts on the axle, otherwise you'll have to use wrenches.

And finally, I'm probably being paranoid, but I wrapped the brake line with electrical tape, and made a "cradle" for the other line (ABS line?) with silicon caulk to stop them from rubbing. Over 100k miles, didn't want to wear a hole in a brake line (might be a problem at 130+...).

Pretty easy install overall. Once I've tightened the bolts again, I'm going to paint the clamps black so they don't show underneath the car.

The FSTB was ridiculously easy - took about ten minutes from start to finish (including adjusting the bar).

Result? Wow! Like everyone has said, the body roll is reduced by probably 80% - it's pretty cool!

Think they're $119? Something like $134 with shipping - and it's TOTALLY worth it. BTW, make sure you adjust your FSTB right; I think mine's a little off, so I'm going to readjust it manana.
