KYBs are here!!!!!!!----My people from the GD

Sorry about the wait, our dear friends at KYB didn't even ship them until this past Monday. The trucking comp. just rolled in, and we have begun packaging up everyones orders!!! Thank you guys and gals, like I always say, you are the best, and I apologize for KYB deciding to take a few extra days to get them to us. Everyone on the gd, expect to have tracking numbers by Monday night!!!!
If you have any questions, please feel free to call, e-mail, or post!

Alex

PS I haven't been on the board much this week, since a red light runner in a Toyota Camry decided that he wanted to play chicken with my front end.......

But hey, I'm back

sorry to hear about that

I don't think the minimal delay bothers anyone at all since it's too cold to install anything and it's worth the wait as long as we're updated on what's going on

looking forward to getting them
thanks for the crazy price!

Well I'm glad everyone is receiving or has there KYB AGX's. I got mine just about a month ago and I love them. But I would like to recommend as it was recommended to me that you should purchase new oem shock/strut dust boot covers for the install. When my mechanic took my suspension apart my covers looked like they were melted. One shock didn't even have one anymore. And Jeff (maximus75) recommended not to get any cheap replacement covers or even the KYB covers but get the nissan ones as they are the best quality. If you do want these I suggest you don't go to your local nissan dealership. I went to mine and it was going to cost around $115 + tax just for 4 covers. If you want them for a good price call up courtesy nissan in Texas. Mine came up to about $70 shipped give or take a couple of dollars. This is discounted price because of the org. Just a little advice to pass along.

First off what kind of coilovers do you have?
I ask this because when I first purchased my set I wanted to use Weapon R coilovers with them and it turned out that the coilover sleeve could not slide over the KYB strut. If you look at your KYB strut or shock (can't remember which one) you will see a hex shape piece where the sleeve has to slide over. If your sleeve can slide over then you are straight but if it can't then you will have to have a shop machine the hex piece so that it is round to make the sleeve slide over. After that experience I didn't chance it anymore. I just got sprngs and forgot about coilovers all together. Also I heard they are very noisy (Weapon R) I don' know about any other brand)

Secondly, I don't know how great it is to have no dust boot cover to protect your shocks and struts. Thats a lot of dirt you would be allowing inside th shock/strut body. But if thats ho coilovers work, go for it.

Note: When I had the KYB/Weapon R problem I called KYB and asked why it wouldn't work with the coilovers and they said that they didn't make the shocks to work with coilovers, and if used with them woud void warranty. Also using springs with more than a 1.5 inch drop will void warranty. But I got 1.75 drop so I don't know how they can tell what drop you had on the car.

4 x 4 look is good, except when you have a snow plow in front aka front lip but it's all good

How? That's my little secret

Why? Because Maxima.org and its members have supported me and the business for over three years, and I have felt for many years a need to say thank you, and what better way to do so than to have three key things EVERY AWESOME BUSINESS SHOULD HAVE:

1)LOWEST PRICES
2)BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE
3)DEDICATED EMPLOYEES

We put those three together a long time ago, and now, SWA is in full effect.

Thanks again
Alex
