Do you have to remove Y-Pipe to wrap it?nm

Question- why are you wrapping it? I DO NOT recommend wrapping your Y pipe, especially if you're in an area that snows and gets salted or a coastal area. My Y pipe after only a few months developed shallow rust (even though its stainless) because it was wrapped. I saw almost no benefit to doing it as well. Save yourself the trouble and don't do it.
