Does anyones real tail lights leak? When it rains water gets into the clear part of the lights on the trunk. Then when I open the trunk they drain into my trunk. Anyone else have this problem? I figure I have to take it off and reglue it to the trunk but I wanted to see if anyone else has done this before I start taking her apart. Thanks guys!!

 

i have a front clearance light that leaks...and i took it off to find out it was cracked to hell in the back. I dried it then siliconed it the best i could. It still leaks and has condensation, but it's not as bad. The best thing you can do is to buy a new piece...

 

I get condensation in one side of my clear tails, but that is because I have opend the housing. I definatly don't get standing water.
When you say water goes into your trunk, do you mean the water that was inside you tail light or just water that runs off from the top of the trunk?

 

The clear part of my lights fill up about 1/4 inch, depending on the rain. Then when I open the trunk all the way the water leaks out from the back and pours onto the floor of the trunk. There are some small holes that it pours from. I have also noticed that my entire piece/light, is sticking out a bit in the middle, about 1/8 inch and can pushed back in for a second but then it just pops back out. I guess I just need to get it a part and take a look.
