injen install question

do you guys with an injen on a 2K2 have a little black hose right next to the engine block that is not connected to anything? the hose is about 3/8" dia. it just comes off a piece and curls around itself, not connected to anything. I'm wondering if I missed something in the install.

thanks
vince

(i dont have a picture but i'll try and draw one link it)

It is a breather, or drainage hose.

Re: Re: Re: Re: injen install question

You did the installation correct, the hose that your talking bout', it really isn't supposed to be connected to anything. "Dynamic Design" race shop installed mines, I looked under the hood and there was this one hose that your talking about that wasn't connected. So overall, you wouldn't have to worry about anything, I just got my 2k3 maxima se 6pd equipped with Injen CAI and soon to be mating with a JIC-magic race exuast.

Good luck with your intake!
