Do You Keep The Traction Control Button On Before A Race?

For those of you that have the traction control on your cars, is it better to leave it on or off before you race? Does it make a difference at all? Just wondering.

If bogging your car makes you faster, then by all means

I have an auto SE as well, and I'm curious how much better your Max handles w/ the suspension mods and the new tires and rims. These are all possible upgrades for me in the future (minus the rims). Thanks in advance

To answer your question about how much better my car handles with all the mods...have you ever heard of the expression "Like Night And Day?"

Hey PeterUbers, it is way much better, I have maxspeed and FSTB low profile rubber with lighter wheel, I'm going to put an RSB soon and possibly coilover next spring, way way much better, try it you will see.

Cheers

my trac control is always off when im going to drive aggressively. Suspension mods to our cars will make a HUGE difference in the way the car handles. Ive got eibach/tok setup, with a fstb and rsb, and 17x7 wheels and the thing handles extremely well, much better than stock.

TURN IT OFF !!!!

That is the first thing I do before any apparent race. Now if you're dishing it out on the highway with someone, leave it on...

I left it on by mistake , it boged so much , I actually almost lost to a rice rocket...

I don't know, because I have a 6spd , but if you guys with autos torque braked with the TCS on, would it still bog? ...or is the TCS over bearing?
