Hey Guys,

Its time for me to start tracking down so issues on my '84 Maxima AT.

1) Engine idles roughly
2) Rough off the line until about 1000RPM's then smoothes out.
3) Hot start problem. Engine races up and down for a little while then settles down again.

Outside of the vacuum/airleak search (planned for this weekend), where would you concentrate your efforts?

Quite honestly, because your maxima is very dependant all vacuum for the fuel injection, I'm betting if you fix the leak, some or all of those problems will clear up. You might go ahead and replace all the vacuum lines just for good measure since at that age, that's when all those lines begin to really deteriorate.
