With a used Nissan filter, I got 27.6 mpg over 419 miles last week. Not too shabby for a car with 70,000 miles! Not to mention the car got stuck in bump-bump traffic through Westchester and NYC. It's been a long time since I got over 19-20 simply because the car spends its time stuck in traffic most of the week. So it's good to know the VQ can still deliver on gas mileage. I have a hunch that I could have gotten near 30 if the car could have cruised without the slow-downs on that trip.

I've been planning on cleaning/reoiling the K&N, but I have to find a spray pump for the cleaner. It crystalizes or something and will clog the original one from K&N after sitting about a year....
