guestions on alpine wiring

guestions on alpine wiring

how come my alpine deck has the fuse on the yellow (the contant power) doesnt these decks durive most of the power from the red wire
and im haveing problem with it hiding its self when i shut off the car it just stays out. i have the cda-7897 can some tell me why its not hiding or tell me what u think.

If the yellow is the fused "constant power wire" it needs to be wired to a constant power source. Like the battery. The other wire should be wired to switch on with the ignition. If both have constant power or are wired backwards it may cause the unit to not close properly.

im pretty sure its wored correctly because it remembers my settings
i was talking to the guy at a local audio shop and he says his display models dont close either
