URGENT Sub Question!!

Hey guys, I bought a JL 12W3v2 to replace my 2 12's, because I needed the space back in my trunk. I have an URGENT question, because I'm afraid I might have wired it wrong, and I don't wanna blow it up!!
It is a dual 2 ohm voice coil sub, running off a 2 channel amp that bridges to deliver 300wattsx1 at 4 ohms. So, I ran the wiring to the sub's coils in series, so that the sub would run at 4ohms. Is this right?
NOW, the BIG question! What I did was, I hooked up the + and - from the TOP of the sub to the + and - bridged on the amp. And then I hooked up the + and - from the BOTTOM of the sub to each other. WAS I supposed to hook the + from TOP and - from BOTTOM together? OR have I correctly hooked the + and - from the BOTTOM to each other?
PLEASE let me know, I spent WAY to much on the sub to have it blow because of my idiocy. Thanks guys!

+ pos of one coil to - neg of the other coil. Then from the pair you have left to the amp.
