GD: 4th Gen Carbon Fiber Hood (OE Style) $380

Factory-style Real Carbon Fiber Hood for 1995-1999 Maximas. ETA on Febuary 21st, 2003. Rolled edges, clear coat over the carbon fiber. On the hood's underside, there's a built-in fiberglass plate (painted black) in the center to structurally support the hood because real carbon fiber is soft by nature. Carbon fiber wraps around the fiberglass plate (underside of the hood) for a true double-sided cf hood. Approx weigh of the hood is 17-20lbs.

Introductory Price is $380 for the first 20 pre-paid orders placed with me. Money Order only. I cannot accept partial payments for your spot on the list.

***FREE PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION AVAILABLE***...
Anyone who joins the groupdeal and can make it to my shop/warehouse in Brooklyn NY. It's up to you if you want to supply your own hoodstruts and hoodpins or purchase them from the shop.**

NJ/NYC/LI People can:
a) Picking up the hood on your own in NYC.
b) Pick up the hood at my garage in Central NJ (Edison) at no charge. I will help with onsite install if needed but you can do so AT YOUR OWN RISK (I'm not a pro).
b) Pay add'l $20 for drop ship to a business address (Applies to ONLY NYC/LI)

Add $125 freight shipping (business address) or $175 (residential address) to ANYWHERE within the Continental United States (Hawaii, Alaska and Canada Extra). Shipping time is 3-6 business days in the Eastcoast, 6-12 business days for Westcoast orders.

Regular price after the intro offer will be $450.

Unfortunately I don't have any photos of the finished product but I will guarantee this: There will be NO MAJOR fitment or cosmetic issues against this hood. I won't even ship it out to you if it does not meet satisfactory standards. Obviously, it is the buyer's responsibility to have the hood properly installed by a knowledgable professional and use hood pins. You will need to drill hole for washer nozzles, remove OE hood struts, hood pins ..the usual minor modifications that are required of aftermarket cf hoods.

I've gotten assurances from the factory in Taiwan that the quality is nothing less than high-grade. Nonetheless, I will use my car to test fit the first shipment. If for some reason it doesn't fit my Max, I will NOT hesitate to refund everyone's money 100%. IF IT FITS MY MAX, IT'LL FIT YOURS

Let's get rolling.

I am interested.

Just got a very minor accident on the way back from NYC making my hood a little bent on the edge.

Is this a good excuse to get a cf hood?

Hmm....

Ange...do you think there would be maybe indentations where the wiper nozzles would have been? That would make it easier for people to drill the holes.

Probably not. Perhaps one can overlap the two hoods to properly locate where to drill the nozzle holes.

Maybe you can borrow a truck for the day?

Ant-
1)As long as its a business address in LI or NYC, you can have it delivered for $20.
2)I don't believe so. There's a latch to hold the hood down to the grill.
3)I know how much you want to keep your LED washers You'll have to drill your own washer nozzle holes.

Just wondering if it is worth the money for 30 lbs less on hood, really good price though...lowest I've seen....

thanks

Yes! The edges are rolled. Yes, the carbon fiber has a clear coat.
