Trading Auto for 5-speed

I've decided that the conversion is going to be a big hassle and that I might as well trade in my Max. If I take off my mods, will they fit on the 5-speed? are there any 4th gen Maximas that the mods won't fit on? Thanks, and I apologize if this is a retarded question!

that is definitely a better idea to trade it in, what mods do you have??? things like y pipe, intake, b pipe will all work (you might have to drill an extra sensor though)

Yeah, if you could, trade/sell the car and get a 5spd instead. I too think a 5spd conversion is too much of a hassle. I would much rather sell the car and a Maxima with a 5spd.

Thats basically what I did, but instead my dad kept the other Max and Im just paying for this one.

You should be able to do it within reason cause a Auto will sell easier for them for the most part.

yeh I, like many, have craved a 5-speed for a long time and don't want to drop 2+ grand into my car for a conversion. Should I try to trade it in at a dealership or sell it straight out? My buddies gonna charge me an arm and a leg to put the stock parts back on, bummer!

i am thinking about this too...the only issue i see is that you could be running into other people's problems. you never really know how a car was treated so that's why i'm sticking with my car for a while. plus most dealerships try to screw you anyways. but i guess as long as you have it extensively checked out, you should be fine. if you do trade let us know how it went and what they sort of deal you had...it could push me and others to look into it. goodluck
