My man Big dog hooked me up and hosted these pics for me

I'd like say say thanks to the one and only Bigdog for hosting um for me. I don't know when i'll get around to making the site and all, but for now these pics will do. Therese a few things missing and the pics are ok but not the best, sadly the north seems to have no sun, so when I head back south I'll take some better ones, and do the site.

why is there a big ugly panel in the engine bay covering everything up?

needs a body kit and some interior but it's a good start.

Looks nice man! BigDogJon is cool like that.

Is it me or is your front rotor mounted on the wrong side? I'm refering to the wheelfront.jpg picture

http://www.bigdogjonx.com/maxnout/wheelfront.jpg

The slots look like they are in the wrong direction for this side of the car. Looks like they should be on the other side. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Your wrong. Straight slotted goes forward and slotted that are curved go backwards brembo has a drawing file in .pdf format showing the correct way to put on the brake rotors.

Love the wheels. Love the stereo.

What's with the trim piece in the engine? Seems VERY out of place.......

A good start 'thebigsadler'? I think his car looks awesome. Since you cannot tell, I'll explain what he has done here. His car is modded yet it looks stock except for the rims. The stock deck piece that goes over the aftermarket CD Deck is incredibly brilliant. Also, the trunk setup looks tight as hell, and incredibly stealth when all covered. He's got a supercharger, and I'm sure from other people on the road he looks almost completely stock which makes him the ultimate sleeper. Awesome car 'max'n out' it looks amazing. Where did you get your car worked on and how much? It looks incredible.

'thebigsadler' your looks good too but not everyone is into the aftermarket look of a body-kit, bags, aluminum dash kit, bezel, floors, and whatnot. Your car is blinging while his is sleeping.

Replys/ explanations

All right allow me to start by explaining the way I have gone about moding the car.

The idea around building it has been to take the good base nissan provided and finish it. Basically build it the way it comes from the factory.

I am not into giant flying body kits, or aluminum all over the car, or diamond plate on the floor...The reason is simple, no high end car comes like that. My goal was to build it classy and improve on what is there, not just to add things just for the sake of adding them.

NOW, to the questions and comments.

"that big ugly panel" Is a painted piece of plexi that shrouds the battery to hide "dead space". That is just the piece i drive around with, so when I open it up i don't go, eh space and wires. There is another piece (for show) that I have that is also painted, that fits better and wraps the battery and hits the engine covering all wires, and all "dead space", trust me, it's much better than the dead space that would be there other wise.

"woosh" His screen name is "bigdogjonx", I’m sure it's just a typo just want everybody to know he was helpfull in getting them up. The rotors are not mounted wrong and they are 13" 2 piece cross drilled and slotted with the 4 piston calipers.

"phat man 0550" You got it, the goal of the stereo was to integrate it into the car, and keep it all usable and stealthy to protect it, then when covers are pulled off the bling bling effect is put out.

The car has been worked on by NRH transmission (custom tranny), Matt burns (stereo), extreme and others (performance and custom engine work). How much i don't tend to tell, but lets just say a lot.

ON another note, I know some people may be looking at the gauges(where the clock was) and asking whta they are, from drive to passenger they are: Boost/vac, voltage, and a/f in m.V. They are Dakota digital gauges. And in the sunglass holder is the Apexi s-afc.

I know not everything explains it self, so feel free to ask, but everything serves a purpose.

There’s also a bunch of other pics missing, things like the armrest work that house the crossover and da converter, and the 3 eq's.

Also I know people think i need a body kit, but here is why i don't have one...I don't like any of the ones that are out enough to do one, they are all ok but none fit the car (imo) perfect enough, so i have been working on my own idea of a kit and will do that at the same time i custom paint the car.

Any details on how this was done?

I REALLY like the idea, but now I'd like to know how.

max'n out - That is one damn sweet ride. Everything is totally clean and the installs look factory-quality. My idea of a modded Max the right way... can't say enough good things about it.

Take the clock out of hte car, then take and remove the clock, and lots of plastic inside the casing, remove the plastic that was shorouing the clock. Then mount tinted plexi in the front side, and paint out whree you don't have anything.

Take the gauges, remove all the metel covering the acual electronics, start shaving down board that dont' do ****, then hit the car, and cut out plastic under where the clock housing fits, then mount the gague, and then pu tthe housing in. Not really simple or no cutting, but there ya go.

I hope to at some point acaully get around to building the we page, and put all the mod list and all with it, along with explanations to each piece as it thing acually has a purpose for where and why it was put where and how it was.

I think "tasteful" was the word he was looking for. Cheesy, stick-on, flat dash kits and 5 inch drops rank right up there with Type R emblems on the "tacky-meter".

Max n out- Love the ride........

None...I'd say it's clear I could do all of that pretty easy, but I prefer to take my time and design each piece slow and carefull so when It is done, it's the way it should be. I prefer the smoooth body kits (that we dont' have) so i have to take my time with it. It's pretty easy to take the dash out and fiberglass it and paint it silver...Not so easy to hide things and make them look better while utilzing the factory stuff that is there. I'm not gonna argure with you over this, you don't like it then fine...DOn't.

okay, i can pick apart my "custom modifications" and list out each individual part, but it doesnt get you anywhere. if your car is shot for a magazine you see custom stereo, charger, 19s, brakes, and suspension.

if you are trying to flaunt your modification list i am sure we could have a size contest and i would walk all over you, that's not the point i am trying to make, you are modding your car for you and for cleanliness and that's nice. to think it's mag worthy is to laugh at.

saying my "sprayed dash" or whatever you called it is funny because i am the only maxima that has it, and it's well over $500.00 in the sheet of chrome itself, let alone the custom molding it took to get the dash to fit flawlessly.

i am not going to argue with you that the work is clean and good.. and i wouldnt like to see a throw on factory kit on your car, but if you are too good for all the kits out there why don't you have something custom built? i have the kit i have because all of the other ones would lay into the ground, my stillen lip rests as it is.

people have this preconceived notion when they see my org name that i am **** who thinks his car is the shtt.. in actually i dont think too highly of more car nor do i set it above other people's cars unless you are calling me out. my car is set for show and that's what it does, yours is supposedly for stock i guess? or sleeper?

I think we all get your point about mags. There are also alot of different mags out there for different tastes. Say, didnt we have some lively post about bags last week? ironic.

How is it we always get flames and wars on a simple thread like this? Always someone putting another person down for something they have spent tens of thousands of dollars on?

How come no one flames the people or the person who gets maxima of the month just for having a modified car which includes Ypipe, Intake, Wheels, Body Kit, and RSB? Im not saying I want maxima of the month, but it seems like someone is paying to be it. I know PLENTY of cars out there that are better than half the maxima of the month's that get picked.

All this crap is pushing the limits to achieving a highest stake of bickering I can imagine.

We are here to look at what other people done to their cars. Its not like max n' out is the Enemy here, he does drive a maxima, not a Honda.

Cant we all just get along????

I am not trying to start arguements.. i am just stating opinions and facts towards how people represent themselves and their cars.. yes we all drive maximas and that is our bond. i am not a fan of someone walkin around talkin shtt and thinking they are they shtt when there are plenty of people out there that shtt on them. (not particularly related to this thread)

but when i say something like good start and offer advice and some dikk with a bone stock maxima replies immediately telling me someones car is better than mine and that i have no room to talk and my car is for this and his car is for that and blah blah blah i'll defend my point.

bigdog, we have never had problems and i enjoy what you have done with your car. and i stated that i liked jayson's car, ive never met the guy, but ive only seen his comments in a few threads and he just seems to think his max is on top and everyone needs to work up to it because he spends the most time and money... come on now..

sometimes things get scewed and especially on the internet people dont know how to read things or they take them the wrong way.

and the motm thing i think everyone can agree with.. that it's never really agreed upon throughout the org who should be it and who shouldnt and there have been cars in the past that should not have been it, mine may have been one and there may be some recent ones.. it's all about politics, and besides.. who really cares?? does motm do anything for you??

Glad we got that straightened out.

I dont care to be the MOTM. I dont care if I ever become it. Just amazes me how people "flaunt" it on the org like it was a huge compliment. To me it is like who did you #@## to get that?

I like what you have done to your car as well. I want to do more audio shtt as well. Just need to get my house first so I can do more things in a garage instead of doing them in a parking lot.

Yeap everything was replaced, got some better stuff. Charger was sold to LatinMax. Waiting on this one thing so I can try some custom boosting work on the car.

Need to get new subs and amp to replace mine. Right now I got the two MTX 6000s in the fiberglass box i made for the spare tire well. Problem is cant put bigger subs because the magnets right now on the 6000s just barely clear the "hump" in the center of the fiberglass box from the sparetire holder. I made the whole thing based on being 100% OEM flush to the trunk floor. Didnt raise the floor at all. 100% trunk space still there. I think I will have no choice but to raise the trunk floor like 2" and get some better subs in there and maybe bump upto two 12s. But then I have to redo the whole fiberglassing. And then make a new sub floor.

All this cant be done in a parking lot HAhhahaa
