Question about what Glue to use on the back of the "Maxima" letters

I searched and searched and can't find any info, but im trying to find out what glue or adhesive to buy to reattach the "Maxima" letters after i shave them off, if i don't like the look.

3M Scotch-Mount Nameplate Repair Tape, Part #051131 is the best I have found. Its double sided and OEM approved for ornaments and nameplates on Autos.

Mine are still on after many washings and extreme heat and cold.
