please help brothers of the org

On my way to work this morning I was driving about 40 miles per hour and I heard a loud bang in the engine compartment and saw a cloud of white or gray smoke. I immediately stopped and opened the hood and did not see any signs of any damage... I checked my wipers and lights everything seemed ok . I checked my radio and everything checked out ok I thought that it may have been a power wire or fuse to my amp everything was ok , what do you guys think that it is ?

I found out what happened.. the amp fuse on the lead from the battery in the engine compartment was wrapped in aluminum foil because the my amp did not turn on over the weekend and my neighbor wrapped it in a piece of aluminum foil because it was after hours and I wanted music. i figured if a fuse was to blow after that it would blow from the fuses in the amp ... when I put the new fuse in I saw burn marks on the connecter.... the strange thing is that the original fuse did not appear to be blown....
