Anyway, if you want a set a decent shocks. The ones to get are the KYB GR2. This will provide a good ride while still giving you some performance at the same time.

If you're just going for the rear, you should probbily get the same brand as the front.
I do know what you mean about the price for replacing adjustables. I have adjustables on my 84Z and I wasn't gonna pay nissan's price. so I have some Toykio Blues on order. from what i hear, they are a better shock than the KYB's and not all that much more expencive.
