GD: $340 shipped for KYB AGX 1995-1999

Alright, I just got ourselves a Group Deal on the KYB AGX from Nick Bauer (the person who sell the product on ebay for $346 shipped). He confirmed me that he will sell the AGX's for $340 shipped so whoever need AGX's, you better jump on the deal while it's on. He didnt give any details of when it will end so it's better to put your order in right now.

So the deal is $340 shipped to the Continental USA, not Hawaii or Alaska, or Puerto Rico. So if you dont live in the continental USA, he will charge you more. Just call his store at his toll free number 1-877-634-0063 from 9-5 eastern time Monday thru Friday. (just mention the maxima.org)

I think everyone should ask Alex to set up another buy. Better to support those who support us and our community. Especially since Alex ahs run so many group buys for these at the same price with not one complaint.

Why has there been so many negative comments about this GD? I'm just curious because the price looks pretty good. It's definitely the best price going now even with the Cattman/GD @ $350. Tell me something I don't know.

I guess some people are just a$$ holes they cannot adjust to change.

Good deal I may add.

There's nothing wrong with the deal . I have been in long email conversation with the dealer before he could give me this price. At first, he wouldn't consider the $340 shipped price . He kept on insisting for $350. But anyway, if some people dont like this deal, then they could spend more.

I just called and got the GD pricing on AGXs - $340 shipped. They said they'd go out today but I don't know much about this vendor so I'll report how it goes.

Just call them up and ask - # is at the top of this thread. They seemed like they had lots more stuff than these so they probably carry 3rd gen AGXs too, although the only springs they had for the 4th gen. Maxima were Intrax and I wanted H&Rs. Unlike some other GDs, you don't need to be on a list or anything. Yesterday I just called, mentioned the org and Nick Bauer's name, and they gave me the $340 shipped price. Don't know how long they offer this price but I recall seeing it or something slightly more expensive from them maybe 6 months ago so I think they'll keep this price for awhile. who knows, if they get enough volume, maybe they'll go lower.

If you have time to wait and want to be cautious, I'll report back when I receive them, what condition, etc., so check back in a week or two.

AGXs arrived yesterday, day after I ordered them so that was quick as can be. Shocks weren't packed that well--the outside box and shock boxes were a bit beat up, maybe from UPS--but the shocks were in bags, clearly new and looked good which is what matters.

H&Rs also came in from the Tire Rack, okay price at $205 plus $11 shipping but not the cheapest. Great service (website) and perfect boxes.

All I need now are a few piece parts from Nissan and a warmer day to put them on. Can't wait.

try:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hreadid=141999

and thanks to TsingTsaoNYC for such a complete list. Actually, I'm going to look closely at what I need since all this extra stuff adds up to over $200. definitely the isolation sleeves, though. lots of people on the board complained of noise from lowering springs when they didn't use them. see

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....threadid=72678

for more info (but much earlier post than TsingTsao's).

about cutting the bump stops down or using the KYB dust boots/bumpstops, which are $60 from Cattman which is cheaper than the Nissan ones and you don't have to cut them or reglue them

http://www.cattman.com/

other KYB AGX dealers should have them too but maybe not in stock.

good luck

$60 is right but shpg is extra unless you buy the AGXs from Cattman too (they charge $355 plus shpg). in my case AZ to NY, the dustboot shpg was $15, which seems pretty high since these don't weigh much and aren't that big. Still, $75 delivered isn't any more than the factory ones would be with either shpg (on net) or tax (picked up at local dealer), and I won't have to cut the bump stops down.

jiggity1226 can you ask Nick Bauer if he can set up a group deal for the modded 4th gen, AGX for the 5th gen. A lot of people have been asking about this lately. Thanks

i am just trying to assess my options. it is likely that i will not do any suspension stuff this month, and i am trying to find a good deal that will last.

Nick has some of the best service I have seen.

I ordered Friday and they are coming TODAY, Tuesday. When emailing him for info on if I need to leave a signature he got back to me in 5 minutes.

I highly recommend his business guys.

Just a FYI for you all.

BTW, this is the 2nd time Ive ordered these from him with EXCELLENT service both times!
