I'm really trying to quiet my car down, and probably regain some HP. I have the lousy cattman y pipe that has got a leak at or near the flex. It sounds like ****. Its not really loud, but it hisses at even light throttle. I can't wait to get the new one on. I also think that I have a stud missing on the front bank, but once the car gets hot it basically goes away. I can only tell that there is a noise in the first place by popping the hood and reving with my hand. I don't *think* that that is the sound i'm hearing inside. The crappy cattman y has been kinda making a sound very simillar to a bad manifold stud. I'll keep ya posted.

Good to hear. Even when the cattman was new, I alwasy had this "resonance" comming from under the car. And the reason I feel I may pick up a few HP is that I have one of the old old designs that doesn't have a "lined" flex...so i'll bet it collapased like everyone else. I just want to hear the engine and intake, not the exhaust.
