Philips Bluevisions
Philips Bluevisions
I changed my cheap blue coated ebay bulbs to Bluevisions since alot of people on the org been saying there wires melted when they put on high wattage bulbs. The bluevisions give off bright white light and it has more visibility than the HID wannabe bulbs that sell on ebay. If anybody wants to upgrade there lighting without changing the harness or dishing out wads full of cash on HID's Bluevisions are a perfect choice. I also heard silverstars were good too.
Yes, i wholeheartidly agree, i picked them up from my local soon to be closing Kmart a coupla weeks back. At first they didnt look different at all (installed in the daytime). But boy, at night, their a nice, crisp white with a sliiiiiiiiiiiight hint of bluish light. Definately allows for some improved vision. Makes my fogs look yellow and gaudy(their still OEM). Need to pick up some Phillips BV H3's, but no luck in any stores...
Oh, and can anyone recommend some corner lights (next to headlight) thats also really bright white?! I bought those APC 1156's and there really blue. Need something white...
Thanks
Eric

Try Polarg. I have polarg hyper whites on my front turn signal. The bulb itself is light blue, but puts out a white with a little (and i mean a little!) hint of blue. Another option is Piaa hyper whites. Both can be purchased on ebay for around $12-15 a pair. They might look great next to your Bluevisions.
Here's a link to a website that sells polargs: http://www.gotogiga.com/shop/shop_na...ing&sec=Polarg
This is one of hundred of sites on the net that sell polarg brand bulbs. I find that these sites tend to be pricey. You can find polargs easily on ebay by doing a search. Bulbs are usually half the price on ebay. Ive seen 1156/1157 dual filament bulbs for around $15 shipped. Hope this helps

the polargs in the corner lights will not match the bluevision headlights. your headlights will look yellow compared to the polargs. i know from experience

Go with orange markers to match your bumper marker lights. The orange light next to the headlights makes the light look even cleaner.
Contrast baby!
And to avoid the "eggyolk" look, dust them with silver spray paint. You'll never see the bulb during the day, but at night they light up orange and match the rest of your lights!
