I was thinking about getting some high performance cam sprockets ( the timing sprockets), since I am having trouble removing the camshaft sprocket. They look good, and I was wondering that if I got them, do you think I should leave the timing covers off?

 

Personally, I'd leave the covers on...they're there for a few reasons.

As for getting more sprockets...all you can do is go with adjustable, and with SOHC, there's minimal gains by doing it. If you do want adjustable, email Morgan@z31.com He's been selling adjustable ones.

 

Well, I'll leave them on........ but, heck, I have four more months before I have to put her on a ship! and I am running out of time!
