I jsut got a 91 maxima that has about 285 thou miles and i was wondering what mods can i do for looks/performance?

Right now all i got in mind is the following
-sound system
-air intake(where and which is a good place to get)
-interior dash trim kit for 130 from ebay
-Replace gas lines because car has smell when i use heater.(trying to figure out which lines thou)
-some day when i get money rims.
-tint


any ideas?

Pretty much every question ive had everyone wants me to search even thou i cant find anything.

 

285k miles ??? wow thats the most ive ever heard of. Are you sure you want to start investing a lot of money in a car that old? If so you should just put in a nice system or something else that you could take out and put into your next car. If you want to find some good upgrades for your max go to custommaxima.com its the best site ever!!!
I also noticed you have the problem with the heater and the gas smell. I have that too.

i think u arnt getting the response that you would like because so many people ask that same question week after week.

anyways, with such highmileage, I would start of making shur the car is in top condition. go to these places for mods

two best mods , front strut tower brace and cold air intake.
personally i wouldnt mod a car with that high of mileage, but whatever floats ur boat.

 

THe tranny was just rebuilt infront of me .And the engine is sapposidly rebuilt too.


Right now all im gettnig in a deck (audio) and a grill for 30 bucks from grilletech

 

u can make da grille yourself if u want.
