Warning: Low Fuel Light started fading in and out, but my fuel is not low?

I was on the highway with some friends coming back home. This particular part of the highway is being rebuild and expanded so it has lots of bumps and road contours. We hit quite a few hard bumps. Anyways, As I near the exit ramp I notice that little red circle light is on. But i'm at nearly a half a tank. WTF? Then it starts fading and dies away. Then all of a sudden it comes back on. It fades in and out, in and out randomly all the way home. Does anyone know what this could mean? All my gauges read normal.

Turbo Tom screwed up the sender when he installed your pump. You may want to poke in there and take a looksie around.

You love too far away or I'd help ya out. There has to be local guy that has done the Walbro install before, ask for some help in your area of the ORG.

Del,

Is it anything serious? Or can I drive the car until I find the time to get it fixed?
